Vancouver Snow Storm

Last winter we got to get way with Justin and Adam, in celebration of their anniversary. It was the second year we traveled to Vancouver for the celebration, only this time we got a little more than we bargained for.

We had seen a forecast for snow, and were not suprised when we encountered snow flurries when we stopped for lunch in Bellingham. But when we left Bellingham and headed north, the snowfall only got more entrenched. By the time we finally crossed the border the heavy freeway traffic could scarcely keep the roads clear. We inched our way into the city and finally found our Airbnb (of course a little hush-hush) on the east end of False Creek amid a huge blizzard.

Here are many shots of the view from our simply stunning highrise view, the city around, and the storm’s aftermath. I hope my photos can convey the singular experience of our visit, enjoy!
